Pressed flower artist Kawagoe Tae from Pressfloser Studio Japan will be exhibiting.
今回、出展作品のタイトルは 「FLOWER CODE」 です。
The title of the work exhibited this time is "FLOWER CODE."
金色の屏風に見立てた和紙に、アメリカシャクヤクのグリーンハローを主役に据え、個性豊かなチューリップやスカビオサなど多彩な花々を散りばめました。
On a golden folding screen made of Japanese paper, the main focus is on the green halo of American peonies.
A variety of unique flowers, including tulips and scabiosa, are scattered throughout the space.
作品に使われている草花はすべて、川越多江自身が一つ一つ選び、押し花に仕立てています。
All the flowers and plants used in the work were personally selected by Kawagoe Tae herself.
It is made into pressed flowers.
転機の春に導かれた花／Flowers guided by a turning point in spring
今年の春、人生の分岐点に立ち、迷いの中にいた私のもとへ、花屋の友人から届いた一枚の画像がありました。
それは、アメリカシャクヤク グリーンハロー。
This spring, I was at a crossroads in my life and in a state of uncertainty.
I received a picture from a friend who is a florist.
It's the American peony Green Halo.
透き通るような白と爽やかなグリーンに、心は一瞬で惹きつけられました。
「この花を窓辺に飾りたい」
——その純粋な衝動に導かれるまま、花を求め花瓶に生けたとき、部屋の空気が澄み渡り、心に光が差し込むような体験をしました。
The crystal clear white and refreshing green instantly captured my heart.
I want to display these flowers on my windowsill.
-- Guided by that pure impulse, I sought out flowers and arranged them in a vase. The air in the room became clear and I felt as if light was shining into my heart.
花が教えてくれた初心／Flowers taught me the basics
「この美しさを留めたい」
そう思い、押し花に仕立てる過程で、私は押し花を始めた頃の初心を思い出しました。
"I want to preserve this beauty."
With this in mind, in the process of making pressed flowers, I remembered my initial thoughts when I first started pressing flowers.
その記憶と感情を作品に込めたのが「FLOWER CODE」です。
金色の和紙を舞台に、主役のグリーンハローを中心に据え、チューリップやスカビオサなどの花々を屏風のように配置。静寂と希望が広がる世界を表現しました。
" FLOWER CODE " is a work that incorporates those memories and emotions.
The stage is set on golden Japanese paper, with the main character, a green halo, at the center.
Flowers such as tulips and scabiosa are arranged like a folding screen.
It expresses a world of peace and hope.
花が宿す永遠の美しさ／The eternal beauty of flowers
花は、その瞬間の美しさを私たちに届け、やがて姿を変えていきます。
しかし押し花にすることで、花びら一枚ごとの色合いや質感は新たな輝きを帯び、生花とは異なる、時を超えた美しさを見せてくれます。
Flowers bring us the beauty of that moment, eventually it will change shape.
However, by pressing flowers, the color and texture of each petal takes on a new brilliance,
They offer a timeless beauty that is different from fresh flowers.
私にとってFLOWERは、ただの植物ではなく、心に寄り添い、人生を導いてくれるパートナー。
「FLOWER CODE」は、そんな花の力を形にした作品です。
To me, FLOWER is not just a plant, a partner who will be close to your heart and guide you through life.
"FLOWER CODE" is a work that embodies the power of flowers.
花が与えてくれる「静寂」と「希望」を、ぜひ会場で感じていただければ幸いです。

自由な発想と個性で「花」を表現した初めての企画展です。
