桜の美しさと儚さは

「寒い冬を超えて温かい春を待ちわびた心」が合わさって、
シンフォニーのように見る人の心を揺さぶるのではないでしょうか。
この作品では、そうした様々な要素が組み合わさって咲く桜の姿を表しました。
桜の花びらたちが、視覚的メロディーを奏でるように制作しています。

東海桜と啓翁桜とその枝を、着色なしの押し花にして制作しています。
桜の花は比較的押し花になりやすい花ですが、
最適な作業時期の見極めが難しい場合もあります。
それだけに、毎年桜の時期が待ち遠しく「咲いてくれてありがとう」と声をかけながら、
一輪一輪を丁寧に押し花に仕立てています。

The beauty and transience of cherry blossoms is not only the "gentle color of cherry blossoms," "soft spring breeze," and "bright color of the sky," but also the "heart longing for the warm spring after the cold winter," which moves the viewer's heart like a symphony. In this work, these various elements are combined to express the appearance of cherry blossoms blooming. The cherry blossom petals are created to play a visual melody.

Tokai cherry blossoms and Keiou cherry blossoms and their branches are pressed without coloring. Cherry blossoms are relatively easy to press, but it can be difficult to determine the best time to do so. That is why I look forward to the cherry blossom season every year, saying "Thank you for blooming," and carefully press each flower one by one.
